Austin Peterson served with Armed Forces Radio Service (AFRS) during World War II and achieved the rank of major in the U.S. Army. After working for AFRS in Hollywood, he was based mostly in the Western Pacific theater. This collection includes papers related to Peterson's service with AFRS from 1942-45. The materials are arranged in three bound volumes.
  • Volume 1 includes: reports, photos, memoranda, scripts, radio spots for AFRS (1944-45).
  • Volume 2 includes miscellaneous AFRS radio scripts (1944-45).
  • Volume 3 includes AFRS radio scripts for Command Performance, U.S.A. (1942-43).
